A CPD/Networking Event to be held at Craft in the Bay, Cardiff Bay

Changes to employment law and employment issues generally continue to be an area of concern to many. Sam deliver an update on employment law and explain how ACAS's Helplines are able to help with a wide range of employment issues.

1.30pm The Sacred Illness - A thought provoking presentation on addiction
Wynford Ellis Owen is CEO of the Welsh Council on Alcohol and Other Drugs and of Stafell Fyw Caerdydd - Living Room Cardiff, the recently opened free, bilingual recovery centre for South Wales. He is also the author of 'No Room to Live'. His book is an autobiographical and self-help book that offers a positive way out from the hell of addiction, told through his personal experiences and thoughts. All profits from the sale of his book go towards supporting the recovery centre, which offers help to anyone experiencing difficulties relating to alcohol, drugs (prescribed or illicit), or any other dependency or harmful behaviour such as eating disorders, sex addiction, gambling, self-harm, etc.

SSAFA provide practical help and assistance to anyone who is currently serving or has ever served, even if it was only for a single day. Each year, SSAFA support more than 50,000 people in the Armed Forces community. "Because we believe that their bravery, dedication and commitment deserve a lifetime of support."
