Institute Values
The Institute of Welfare believes that the basic responsibility of those engaged in people support and guidance is the improvement of general well being and human relationships within every sphere of human activity.
It also upholds a belief that a welfare, health and social care practitioner is someone whom, through professional training and work based learning, has the requisite knowledge, skills and values necessary to work effectively with individuals, families and groups (in many instances within the workplace) in helping to promote well being and social capabilities.
